Colorful, eccentric, 80’s, and structure is what Nicolas Ghesquière showed throughout the Fall/Winter 2019 collection this past Paris Fashion week. The collection brought viewers back to 80s through different colorful prints, leather, animal print, cool accessories, and many more, He Even had the mixing of different prints throughout the outfits that walked the runway.
I’m not here today to just talk about the clothing from the collection, but also the accessories. The accessories range from crocodile print on a hard circle shaped bag to Teddy fleece handbags. Just as much the clothing pieces represented the 80s aesthetic, The handbags did as well. Some of the accessories that were shown in the Louis Vuitton showroom weren’t shown on the runway.
The showroom had much more of a variety of handbags.
Teddy Fleece handbags are going to be a big trend and I know it. Through fashion week I saw alot of Teddy Fleece like handbags. I saw alot of them from the Chanel Fashion Show as well. It’s good how they have different designs and sizes of the teddy fleece bags from waist bags to mini bags to even Speedy 25s. I absolutely love the Teddy Fleece trend.
The colorful bags of course had to make an appearance in the collection since the theme gave off 80s vibes. These wallets and handbags have a snake print / crocodile design on the bags and come in many different colors as you can see. A sleek shiny bag like these ones even in different solid colors is great for an everyday look.
Then to keep the classic touch, They added pieces that are classic but with a new style and feel to it. They had the checkards and original LV monograms prints. They even added a twist on the monogram Pochette NM accessory. Its like two bags on one. Super cool and different.
This has to be my favorite style yet. I love the ombrè design of this bag. Ombrè bags are starting to be my favorite. Plus it has that colorful 80s feel to it. I also adore the burgundy, creme, and black style with the diamond and circle indentations.
They even added new color way patterns to the Platform desert boot and the Archlight sneaker.
