Zendaya Steals The Show at Louis Vuitton Fashion Show.

Zendaya rumored as Louis Vuitton global Ambassador

Louis Vuitton held their fall 2023 Ready-to-wear collection in the ballroom of the Musée d’Orsay on March 6. The collection was muted in tone according to the looks, but the front row was vibrant. This is common for the major french fashion house, Louis Vuitton. However, the celebrity that stole the show was Euphoria star, Zendaya.

Zendaya showed up to the fall 2023 ready-to-wear show in a full Louis Vuitton blazer and short set with the matching thigh-high boot. She paired this look with a monogrammed Capucine bag. She styled the Louis Vuitton look under the jacket with a black bralette.

The young fashion icon, Zendaya has also been recently rumored soon to become the global ambassador of the Louis Vuitton Brand. Zendaya is known for her roles in various movies and shows, but she is also widely known for her style. Styled by celebrity stylist Law Roach the two have been able to curate viral looks that come straight off the runway or archive looks from the 90s. However, she doesn’t just wear these viral looks; she embodies them.

The Zendaya and Louis Vuitton pair would be an exciting partnership to see in the industry. If Zendaya becomes the Global Ambassador of Louis Vuitton, she will be joining a team of mega-celebrities such as Emma Stone, Millie Bobby Brown and Alicia Vikander.

Louis Vuitton Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquiè’s inspiration for the collection comes from asking his young designers in the Louis Vuitton studio. The question is, “What is French style?” French style is always sought after due to its elegance, prominence, and originality.

Ghesquiè opened up the fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection with a jacket draped with a material that you usually see used for blazers and trench coats. This blazer was cinched in with a thin black belt. Underneath that draped jacket is a black lace dress. Following the norm of stacked jewelry, Louis Vuitton paired the look with the brand’s logo gold rings and a monogram boxed top handle bag.

The prominence of French style is at the forefront of this collection; the first seven looks featured the socks and pumps trend and leather boots embody the socks and pumps look.

The color palette within this collection didn’t go far from grays, tans, blacks and deep reds. Look 20 featured an all-brown and tan ordeal. The oversized brown blazer with a thick and well-made material was paired with these tan wool pants with extra fabric starting from the thigh and cinching to straight-leg pants forming a circle.

This circle pattern was used throughout the collection when it came to vest and jacket sleeves. The circle pattern added dimension to the collection. A well-structured piece that was interesting to see was this tan wool coat. The circle sleeves with the black leather shoulder patches mixed edge with a classic french style.

Another piece that will be a fashion trend soon would have to be knee-length pant bottoms. The trend was showcased on the 37th look of the collection. The look included a faux fur oversized coat with black leather shoulder patches and knee-length pants.

This collection of monotones was dual yet riveting. Pieces in this collection can be classic pieces in one’s collection.
