Barneys at Saks Fifth Avenue Has Made Its Huge Debut!

We all thought that Barney’s would never come back, but it seems like it is and in a huge way. Saks Fifth Avenue has recently debuted its “Barneys at Saks” experience at Saks New York flagship store. This new retail experience came to light after Saks Fifth Avenue received licensing rights for Barneys in 2019.

The “Barneys at Saks” retail experience takes up 54,000 square feet of the New York flagship store and is located on the fifth floor. Fashion lovers can buy from new and established brands from both retailers. Sixteen of the brands are new to the Saks Fifth Avenue store.

On Jan 25, a brick and mortar “Barney at Saks” will open in Greenwich, Connecticut.

The luxury experience will extend pop-up events, innovative displays, and products that maintain Barneys New York’s legacy and will feature the new location devoted to healthy food and beverage, Honeybrains. “We are excited to bring Barneys at Saks to life in a way that is relevant for today’s luxury consumer with a strong focus on discovery and the unexpected,” said Tracy Margolies, chief merchant at Saks Fifth Avenue, in a statement.

“Barneys at Saks will continue to serve as an incubator of newness and a space for emerging designers to bring their vision and story to Saks,” Margolies says.
