Off-White is Releasing a One-Of-A-Kind 2.8 Jitney Handbag to Support the Louvre.

Virgil Abloh, Designer for Off-White and Men’s Artistic Director for Louis Vuitton, has designed a One-of-a-Kind 2.8 Jitney Handbag to help fund the Louvre.

Along with other luxury fashion houses, designers, and contemporary artist, Virgil Abloh will contribute this limited piece in Christie’s auction “Bid for the Louvre.” The auction is in support of the Louvre Museum and The Louvre Studio.

The Jitney 2.8 has been one of Off-White’s best sellers in the accessory category. The Jitney 2.8 launched in 2019. The Jitney 2.8 had Off-White’s arrows that crossed each other and with also different phrases. This new variation for the auction will keep the same structure as the original Jitney 2.8 bag but with significant enhancements. The purse for the auction will have a silver calfskin leather wrapped around the bag with diamond-shaped palettes that display the Louvre’s known and iconic metal and glass pyramid.
