Over a month ago, we as a community lost the great Nipsey Hussle, who was shot in front of his Marathon store in LA. Nipsey was an inspirational and hardworking man for his community. His death had to be one of the biggest I’ve seen in my years of life. His path didn’t only effect me, but also many people across America.
Since Nipsey’s death his clothing brand, Marathon has had a great boost in sales.
Confirmed from people from Nipsey’s team, the brand has made $10 million dollars in less than two months. Sales include clothes and accessories. Many fans, industry colleagues, and supporters have went on the clothing brands website where they bought many amounts of accessories, hats, and sweatshirts.
With the enormous amount of orders from the site, shipping has been a little delayed but the team from the Marathon store are thankful for all the support and are trying to get everyone’s orders out as soon as possible
I truly wish the best of luck to the Marathon store for more sales and opportunities. I also send prayers and blessings to Nipsey’s family.
