Louis Vuitton Exhibition ( Louis Vuitton X) in Beverly Hills, EXCLUSIVE LOOK

This past weekend I attended the Louis Vuitton Exhibition in Beverly Hills that was a look down memory lane of all its artistic collaborations over the years. When I got to the Exhibit’s location, the wait wasn’t even that long ( probably approximately 10 minutes). People were taking pictures in front of the pink building because it was so chic and Instagram worthy. I took some pictures in front of this orange and yellow ombré wall that imitated the Louis Vuitton print.

When you walk inside the exhibit they hold you in the front with a bunch of other Louis Vuitton lovers and wait for you to experience something amazing. While you wait to tour the exhibit, someone briefly explains what the whole exhibit is about and what your about to get yourself into. She briefly and thoroughly explains the fashion house history. The first room I walked in housed some of the first and latest bags from Louis Vuitton. They had some of the first Louis Vuitton trunks made and also the newest Men’s bags designed by Virgil Abloh, Men’s artistic director. ‘The Triumph’ by Louis Vuitton was one of the most favorite trunks that was adopted by tennis players in the 20s.(Click link to view video)

The next room was a little more darker than the previous one. This room held some of the first bags from the brand. The set up was very unique. They had the famous Louis Vuitton print coming from the ceiling in a silver metallic print and also coming from the floors with mirrors all along the walls. It was very much so futuristic. This room housed one of my favorite collaboration handbags and this is the Louis Vuitton x Christian Louboutin bag. This room also had a Louis Vuitton punching bag for the fashionable boxers out there.(Click link to view video)

When you walk out of this room, we walk into one of my favorite rooms out of the whole exhibit. This room was dark but lit up to the fact of the screens that displayed some of Louis Vuitton’s hottest duffle bags. This room housed the Louis Vuitton x Supreme duffle bag, the famous PVC monogram Keepall Bandouliere 50 iridescent prism bag, the Stephen Sprouse graffiti Keepall 50 kaki, the Jeff Koons Keepall bags, and many more. They also had these art pieces that inspired designs for the Louis Vuitton bags that are PRICELESS. (Click link to view video)

The next room was very graphic but in a very happy and good way. It was like 30 different paintings that were beautiful and worthy to be hung up on my wall. This room was the ultimate spot for some Instagram pics. These pieces were called Art on Scarves.(Click link to view video)

The next room housed iconic collabs from Louis Vuitton runway shows in the past. A character named lightning from the Final Fantasy video game inspired the spring/ summer 2016 campaign “series 4”. This look is Look 01 Perfecto jacket and skirt and GO-14 bag in Malletago leather look 01. Along with many other looks , even menswear looks were displayed like the Louis Vuitton x Supreme collection. These many collabs included Grace Coddington, Kanasi Yamamoto, Marc Jacobs, Kim Jones, and this big rainbow colorful piece by Virgil Abloh.(Click link to view video)

Now we are at the end of the tour where we were showcased some of the newest Louis Vuitton Artycapucines collaboration bags that are my fave. These bags are the Sam Falls, Urs Fischer, Nicholas Hilobo, Jonas Woods, and Alex Israel.(Click link to view video)

Lastly there was a pop up shop upstairs that exclusive pieces were available to purchase and also good backgrounds to takes pictures. Such as the pink stairwell case where it was a line to take pictures. Then when you got up stairs there were clothes, accessories, and shoes available to buy and also people taking pictures. It was so cute and fun.(Click link to view video)
